Refund Policy

At DUTCH Testing (https://dutchtesting.org/), we strive to provide transparent and fair refund practices for our services, including online medical consultations and at-home DUTCH Test kits (DUTCH Complete and DUTCH Plus). Due to the nature of healthcare services, consultations with licensed professionals, and personalized lab testing, refunds are limited as outlined below.

Important: All sales involve medical evaluations and lab services. Once a consultation is completed or a test kit is used/submitted, refunds are generally not available due to the non-reversible nature of these services. We encourage you to review this policy carefully before purchasing.

1. Free Consultation

The initial online medical consultation to assess eligibility for DUTCH testing is provided at no cost ($0). There are no refunds associated with this step, as it is free.

2. DUTCH Test Kits (DUTCH Complete – $399 | DUTCH Plus – $599)

Refunds for test kit purchases depend on the stage of the process:

  • Before kit shipment: You may cancel your order for a full refund (minus any non-refundable payment processing fees, if applicable). Contact us immediately at contact@dutchtesting.org to request cancellation.
  • After kit shipment but before sample collection/return: Refunds are available minus a restocking/processing fee of $75 (to cover kit preparation, shipping, and handling costs). The unused kit must be returned in original condition (unopened and unused) within 30 days of delivery. Shipping costs for return are your responsibility.
  • After sample submission to the lab: No refunds are available. Once samples are collected and sent for analysis, the service is considered fully rendered, and lab processing begins.
  • After results are issued: No refunds for completed tests or clinician review/interpretation.

Test kits expire and must be registered/returned to the lab within the timeframe specified in the kit instructions (typically 6–12 months from purchase—check your kit for details). Expired or unreturned kits are non-refundable.

3. Online Medical Consultation (Post-Approval)

Once approved for testing and the follow-up consultation to review results occurs, the consultation fee (included in the test price) is non-refundable. Completed healthcare services provided by licensed professionals are generally non-refundable.

4. How to Request a Refund

  • Email us at contact@dutchtesting.org with your order number, full name, and reason for the request.
  • Include proof of purchase and, if applicable, photos/confirmation of unused kit return.
  • Refunds (when approved) will be processed to your original payment method within 10–30 business days.
  • Credit card refunds may take additional time depending on your bank/card issuer.

5. Exceptions and Non-Refundable Items

  • Shipping and handling fees are always non-refundable.
  • Any third-party fees (e.g., payment processing) may not be refundable.
  • No refunds for change of mind after service delivery or sample submission.
  • No refunds if you fail to follow kit instructions, leading to invalid results.
  • Refunds are not available for tests ordered in restricted states (e.g., NY, NJ, RI—contact us if applicable).

6. HIPAA and Medical Records Note

As we handle protected health information (PHI), refund requests involving completed services may require verification of identity to comply with HIPAA. Refunds do not affect your rights to access your health records.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
